The End of the Season
Last Saturday was my last day attending the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire for the season. The last day is always a bit sad; it's like going home when in college and realizing it will be some time before you see your friends again.
The faire is so much like a real community that I miss it when I'm not there. I used to think it was because of the fantasy created on the grounds but now it I realize that it's more than that. It's the love and acceptance that welcomes me back year after year, the cast, the shop keepers, the performers all of them. I cannot wait to see them again!

The staff here are so kind and wonderful :) |
No matter how busy it is, the crew always makes sure they are available |
This shopkeeper taught us a new game. |
He is always ready to explain about the honeybees that produce the shop's honey |
We really didn't want to go. |
