Parchment Paths

As I mentioned in my last post I had a rainy but wonderful Disney vacation.   I had planned to write about every day so I could create detailed blog posts, but I admit, I did not do that.   I was usually too tired or I forgot. However, I had such a lovely time I have to share.             The first Disney event me friend Mel and I attended was on the very day our flight landed, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It requires a special ticket and is held after the park closes to those without the ticket.               We took a ferry boat over and were greeted by our captain making delightfully spooky announcements between the funeral dirges he was humming. The Magic Kingdom itself was filled with a rolling fog that led us past security and unto Main Street where pumpkins and fall leaves festooned the lampposts, shop windows and patches of grass around...
